Onboarding & Operations
1. How long does the process take?
Depending on the skills and experience required, anywhere from immediate to 5 working days.
2. What hours do they work?
Standard would be 9-5pm in your timezone but the hours are flexible with evening, weekend and night shifts available, just let us know your preference upfront and we’ll only put forward workers available at those times.
3. Will they have a reliable connection for meetings and system access?
Yes, this is fundamental to our selection process and rigorously tested before we assign anyone.
4. Where are workers based?
Anywhere English is widely spoken. Usually Philippines and South Africa, sometimes UK, Australia or US for certain projects.
Communication & Management
5. Who manages the remote worker?
You will have daily communication with your assistant to direct tasks. We will also maintain communication and handle shift attendance and timesheets
6. How do we know they’re working?
All our workers are experienced, well-referenced, and hard-working. If you’d like extra visibility, we also offer remote management software.
7. How do we communicate with the worker?
However you prefer, phone, WhatsApp, Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, or Slack. We can plug into your existing systems or provide a communication tool.
8. What if it’s not working out?
We’ll replace your worker at your request for any reason.
Pricing, Billing & Contracts
9. How do we pay?
You pay us on a monthly subscription basis; our assistants are paid bi-weekly
10. Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Just let us know and we’ll stop the work and cancle any your subscription.
11. How does Alba Teams get paid?
Through a built-in service fee.
12. Can we take the worker on permanently?
Yes. For a one-off finder’s fee, you can hire them directly.
